Effects of motivation towards public service on the work performance of the workers of the Regional Government of Puno, 2019

Motivation towards Public Service refers to the desire to serve the public interest, refers to the service provided to the public, induces workers to become professionally involved in public services for the community with a clear social interest. The objective of the research was to analyze the relationship between Motivation towards Public Service and two attitudes, institutional commitment and job satisfaction. The research is descriptive and correlational in nature, for its development Spearman’s correlational analysis was used given the type of categorical variables obtained through Likert scale surveys, which allowed measuring attitudes. The population is made up of workers appointed by the Regional Government and the sample amounts to 55 workers. The results show that there is a positive relationship between Motivation towards Public Service and institutional commitment, as well as a positive relationship between Motivation towards Public Service and job satisfaction.
